Good new for our US friends and customers

6 weeks ago we halted shipping to the US due to uncertainties about tariff costs, the steep learning curve for us in handling shipping with the new rules, and the sheer time commitment that it involved.

We thank all those who reached out to us for the understanding and support you have shown.

Now, 6 weeks later, we feel we have a better handle on everything, and a way to offer our American friends shipments from the O-Store once again, without risking significant losses on our costs.  As of today, we are pleased to be able to re-open shipping to the US.

It is not feasible for us to set up our online store such that tariffs will be automatically included in your cost.  This means that after you place an order we will calculate the tariffs and send you a PayPal payment request, at the e-mail address included on your order.  To avoid incurring cancellation fees  with our payment service provider (in the case that you decide the tariff fees are too high), you will NOT pay when you place your order.  When you go to “Check Out” you will see the amount you will be charged for the items and for shipping, but not for tariffs. Your PayPal payment request will include the order and shipping costs plus tariffs. At this point you can choose to pay or to cancel with no charge.  If you pay, we will ship your order.  If you choose to cancel please send us an e-mail to let us know.
